Square Foot Gardening is changing lives for the better. Teaching self-reliance and sustainability through the Square Foot Gardening Certified Instructor program is a wonderful way to make an impact on your community.

As a Certified Instructor (CI), you will gain a level of expertise that will make a positive impact on the environment and the lives of others. Becoming a CI will enable you to use your skills to benefit not only family and friends, but your local community and beyond. Many of our Certified Instructors have gone on to Mission work around the world. Their stories of success are heartwarming and inspirational.

Our Certified Instructors teach in schools, community gardens, transitional homes, prisons, places of worship, and in urban neighborhoods, helping those to help themselves. Imagine if just one person you instructed passed it on to their friends and neighbors, how many people could help ease worldwide hunger, childhood obesity, malnutrition, and help save precious resources.
As a Certified Square Foot Gardening Instructor, you can help those in your community create extra income by selling their produce at Community Gardens and Farmers Markets. Our CI’s hold instructional seminars in libraries, schools, or anywhere groups can gather and share their knowledge. The time and effort that CIs invest to become certified reaps many rewards.
